Jonathan Gess, Associate graduated from the
University of Michigan with honors, and from Benjamin N. Cardozo Law
School cum
laude. While at Cardozo, Jonathan wrote for
the Benjamin N. Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal, where he
served as an editor in his third year. During summers, Jonathan worked
to promote various public and private causes. Specifically, after his
second year of law school he worked for the Bet Tzedek Legal Services
Clinic, representing indigent clients before City and State agencies.
After graduating from Law School, Jonathan went on to receive an L.L.M.
in Competition Policy from N.Y.U. Law School in Trade Regulation, and
was awarded the Betty Bock Prize in Competition Policy for notable scholarship
in that field.
Jonathan also currently manages and is a partner in another law firm
based in New York City representing a large and diversified clientele
at administrative
and criminal hearings. Jonathan has also served as local counsel to out of
state attorneys for NY Litigation Matters. Professional involvements include
the New York Bar Association and New York County Lawyers’ Association.
